BMW’s are crafted with the belief of providing the best automotive experience possible. Each vehicle that leaves their factory is given individual attention and created with a high level of care and precision. Due to its craftsmanship, a BMW can’t rely on standard vehicle components and service schedules. Each make and model needs a specific type of care in order for it to perform at the level the manufacturers expect it to perform. That’s where we come in.
At AAB Service, our quality BMW mechanics and technicians are specially trained to handle the complexities of repairing and servicing a BMW vehicle. Our team will be able to provide your vehicle with the BMW repair it needs so you can continue to drive it with confidence and comfort. Whether you’re having cooling system problems or you need Inspection I or II, our team is available to handle all of your vehicle’s needs.
When going in for scheduled maintenance and repairs, your BMW vehicle can’t go through a normal check-up. Your vehicle needs to go through a specially designed check-up that is specific to BMW — Inspection I and II. These inspections were designed to ensure all of the components that are unique to vehicle are properly inspected and replaced so your vehicle can continue performing at a high-level. Here’s what you can expect from Inspection I and II.
BMW owners can expect this to be the smaller of the two inspection services. This regular maintenance service includes inspection, repair, and replacement of all the components in your European import that will help maintain its performance and safety. Owners, please be aware of your vehicle’s age as the service intervals for Inspection I have changed:
1991 and Older: every 15,000 Miles
1992 to 1998: every 20,000 Miles
1999 and Younger: every 30,000 Miles
During Inspection I, your BMW’s undercarriage, engine compartment, and body/electrical equipment will be inspected. Afterward, it will go through a road test to make sure your brakes, suspension, steering, and transmission system is in working order. BMW owners can expect this inspection to share many similarities with Inspection I. Services will still include inspection, repair, and replacement of all components in your automobile that will help maintain its performance and safety. Owners, please be aware of your BMW’s age as the service intervals for Inspection II have changed:
1991 and Older: every 30,000 Miles after Inspection I
1992 to 1998: every 40,000 Miles after Inspection I
1999 and Younger: every 60,000 Miles after Inspection I
During Inspection II, your BMW’s undercarriage, engine compartment, and body/electrical equipment will be inspected. Afterward, it will go through a road test to make sure your brakes, suspension, steering, and transmission system is in working order. There are a handful of services that will be performed specifically for Inspection II:
Inspection of parking brake lining
Replacement of spark plugs and air filters
Examination of flexbite boots for leaks
Inspection of car body for rust based on your specific rust prevention warranty
